FeedMe: The Case That Turns Your iPhone Into A Pet

Feed-Me-iPhone-Case

In case you haven’t noticed, our smartphones are becoming more and more human since they are with us 24/7, like an intimate friend. When you think about it, our iPhones are with us through all the ups and downs of our daily lives, and they are there for us just like a best friend would be throughout the years. My phone lives in my jeans pocket much of the day, and without it, I would feel empty and detached from the world.

App developers, smartphone accessories designers and even photographers have been picking up on this trend for about a year or so, and we’ve seen some interesting and thought-provoking creations as a result.

One of my favorites is this photography collection called Social Lights which features intimate moments with an iPhone. There is also the phone that is designed to become your best friend (it learns all of your likes, dislikes, routine, etc.) and the phone that knows when you are angry or annoyed based on how you type.

I could go on and on, but instead I’d like to share with you a cheeky little iPhone case design that makes your smartphone seem like a smiling pet. This is the feedme case that comes with different eye stickers so you can customize the little face on the case itself. Then, since the material is flexible, you can store cash, cards, earbuds, etc. in the case itself. When you do this, you are “feeding” your phone. I think the analogy in the images below which compares our earbuds to noodles is so cute. You can pick up one of these cases at Connect Design for 20 bucks.
