Spectacular New York City Photography [10 Pics]

I love living in a big city. I grew up in a small town, and I always knew from the time I was a little girl that I was destined for a big city. The moment I was old enough to relocate, I did. To me, one of the most beautiful aspects of living in a large metropolitan area is standing right in the middle of all the crowds and craziness at night on the street and looking straight up. The lights, the skyscrapers, the stars and moon all mixed up together look like heaven to me.

Recently I wrote an article called Nighttime In The City which featured some breath-taking aerial photographs by legendary photographer Cameron Davidson. Today I’d like to feature some more city photography. This time, it’s the work of Andrew Carter Mace. Maybe one of the reasons I love these photographs is because they were taken in one of my favorite cities in the world, New York City.

In case you are unfamiliar with that city, it is broken up into 5 boroughs, which are each about the size of an ordinary city. Those include Brooklyn, The Brox, Staten Island, Queens and Manhattan. Of all of those, Manhattan is definitely my favorite, and I’ve spent a lot of time there over the years. It’s a magical place to me. Seeing these pictures makes me want to go back there again. In these photos you’ll see Central Park, The Brooklyn Bridge and Lower and Midtown Manhattan. That’s it… I wanna go! Who’s going with me?
