9 Epic & Playful Worlds Of Children’s Imagination

It is and always will be one of the most intriguing abilities humans will ever harness. It’s the ability to dream and imagine things that never existed. It is what has gotten us to where we are today, and it is what will take us beyond our wildest dreams and even beyond that. It’s been said that as you grow older, you lose some of that imagination. It is instead replaced with knowledge and reason. Personally, I think that is a real shame since so many new things would never have come to be if it wasn’t for the wonderful world of imagination. The second you stop dreaming is the second you stop living in the the future and start living in the past, if you know what I mean.

It’s never too late to behold the imaginary worlds of children and the way they imagine a great adventure. Photographer Björn Ewers and STUDIO314 have taken it upon themselves to produce a series of photographs that depict the wonderful world of a child’s imagination. You know, the kind that we all experienced as little brats running around imagining everything around us was an entirely different world. A box could become a cave and the rain was a pouring waterfall.

The series, consisting of 9 images so far, is one of the rare glimpses into the imaginary world that adults rarely get to experience anymore. It’s good to dream. It puts your “reality” into perspective, and you might even find changes that you can make to transform your reality into an even more awesome one than it already is. Have a look at these images and marvel. The one who says there is only one world out there must be insane. Our reality is built up of multiple imaginary worlds, and we ourselves decide what they should be. What reality have you created for yourself? Imagination can only live where there is no reason.
