Chef Angelito Araneta, Jr. from Manila created the world’s most expensive sushi. It is covered in gold and diamonds! 5 pieces of this rich and famous sushi will cost you about $2,750. Each piece of sushi is wrapped in 24-karate gold leaves and then garnished with a .20-carat African diamond. Believe it or not, people actually order this. The gold is edible.
From what I’ve read, it is popular for marriage proposals and also on occasions when a guy really wants to impress a girl on a date. Want to impress me? Donate that money to a good cause instead of eating it.
