Star Trek: The Next Generation Cast Created Using Yarn

I don’t think anyone can get enough of Star Trek. I mean, the franchise has been rebooted more times than any other movie/series franchise out there, or so I think. It seems the fans just want more and more, and as long as it is that way, I think we’re going to see more and more Star Trek episodes, whether they are in the form of a series or movies. There’s no doubt the franchise is as popular as the Star Wars franchise. I know, we could go on for hours and hours if we are going to try and decide what franchise is better. Let’s just say that they are equally as influential and popular, just for today, alright? There are probably millions of fans out there who of course will not agree with me, but today this is the way we roll.

As we all know, there is a new Star Trek movie, a sequel, being put together right now. I guess every fan on the globe is anxiously awaiting its release in 2013. Since that is quite a long way away, I have found some really “cute” Star Trek: The Next Generation yarn creations to keep you a little bit occupied while waiting, and to still that boredom of yours. They actually put the word “cuddle” into the entire cast.

It’s an ongoing crochet project that is being put together by Jana Ford (I hope I got that right), and it features the cast all yarned up into cuddly little dolls. It’s a project that I think will gain a lot of attention just because the “dolls” are so darn cute. So, if you are really bored and can’t come up with anything to do while waiting for the new Star Trek movie, this is what you need to occupy your time with. Either just sit and stare at these puppies or make your own. I am sure that by the time you are done, it will be time for the premiere of the movie that we are all awaiting so patiently.
