Badass Darth Vader Bust Created From Tarnished Spoons & Old Junk

It’s amazing to me how many different ways Darth Vader can be conceptualized. Creating Darth Vader busts and helmets has become very popular over the past few years, and there are literally endless possibilities when it comes to approaching a Darth Vader design.

Let’s take the steampunk style for example. We featured a beautiful steampunk Darth Vader helmet called Darth Vapour a few months ago which combined hardened leather and a few other unusual materials into a steampunk style helmet. After that, we featured a copper Darth Vader helmet which is my favorite simply because it’s absolutely stunning to look at.

The Darth Vader helmet and bust I’m sharing with you today is a style that I would call steampunk punk. It has that extra layer of punk to it which makes it very unique and very interesting. This was created several years ago by an artist named Alain Bellino. As you’ll see in the pictures, he began this creation by combining two tarnished spoons. He then continued building the bust by adding other old junk to the spoons. He found all of his materials in a cutlery drawer. The rest is history, and a one-of-a-kind Darth Vader bust like I’ve never seen before! Dang, this inspires me to clean out my junk drawer. I wonder what treasures might be hiding in there.
