Today I’m going to talk about “Things that you should do on Halloween”. Before we get to that, however, I’d like to introduce to you about Halloween. Halloween is a traditional holiday that is celebrated on October 31st every year. This is a big holiday that dates back to 1745 and has Christian origins. Today, Halloween has become popular all around the world and everyone recognizes this holiday through certain aspects such as kids going trick-or-treating, scary-looking Jack-o-lanterns and Halloween costumes. Halloween – Day Of The Haunted
In general, everything in Halloween gives off a spooky, haunted vibe because people believe that during this day, spirits from other worlds may cross over into our world. And for people that love this scary, haunted vibe, I’ll suggest a few things for you to do on this holiday.
Participate In Costume Parties
There are multiple costume parties held during Halloween at many different locations. Pick a location that you think would fit for you, get yourself a scary costume like say the grim reaper or a skeleton, put on scary-looking makeup and immerse yourself into the spooky parties. You can invite your friends to come along to these spooky parties.
Everyone disguises themselves into scary-looking monsters
Think of how interesting it would be when there are zombies, mummies, monsters and popular Halloween characters roaming around the streets that are filled with creepy items like bloody skulls, bones, scary-looking Jack-o-lanterns… and maybe somewhere within the people around you exists an actual scary monster?
Watch Horror Movies
If you’re the type of person who prefers a peaceful atmosphere and doesn’t like noises coming from the late-night parties but still wants to get into the spirit of Halloween then you should buy tickets to go see horror movies at cinemas. Normally on Halloween, there are horror movies shown at cinemas.
Even if you can’t go see movies at cinemas, you don’t have to worry too much. Close your doors, turn off all the lights and look for a movie to watch alone on the internet. A few suggestions on horror movies that you should watch include The Exorcist (1973), Poltergeist (1982), Final Destination (2000), Saw (2004), Trick R Treat (2007).

Play Horror Games
What if you’re a gamer? You don’t to watch movies or going out and partying. You just want to spend your time playing games but you still want to get into the spirit of Halloween? I can tell you about a few incredibly scary games such as Dead Space, Dungeon Nightmare, Halloween Nightmare, Walking Dead… Amongst all those games there is one series of games that you can’t pass up which is the Five Nights at Freddy’s series. This is an incredibly scary horror game series that will constantly put you o edge so you have to have high concentration and be alert at all times if you want to survive.
Why did I warn you to play this game on Halloween Day? Because this game is truly scary and horrifying. First, let me tell you a bit about the lore of the game. The game takes place at pizza restaurant named Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria. In 1987, an incident occurred where an animatronic bit off a person’s head causing them to lose their frontal lobe. After a while, people have made reports that the animatronics have blood and mucus oozing out from their mouths and joints. Your objective in this game is to survive in Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria for 5 nights without letting the animatronics get to you.
The haunted animatronics will try to get to you and kill you
I myself feel horrified that the game puts the player in a room that’s not safe at all, where you have to constantly monitor the camera, check the doors and close them when the animatronics are near. You can’t close it forever though as you have a limited amount of power so you’ll have to use it conservatively to survive through each night. This feels extremely uncomfortable as you’re never really safe and will constantly feel that you’re in danger and that the animatronics can kill you at any time.

The sounds in the game is also a part of what makes the game scary. The sounds of the cameras turning on and off, of the doors opening and closing… along with the fact the game is in a first person perspective makes everything feel real and brings you a clear feeling of horror.
Another reason is that besides the PC and mobile versions, Five Nights at Freddy’s also has a flash web version for you to experience the game on your computer without having to install the game. To maximize your experience, I recommend that you play these games alone at night in a dark room.
