Wouldn’t it be great to have a window washing robot in your life? Cleaning windows is a chore I could definitely do without. It’s one of those things I dread doing, and I wait until I can barely see out of them before I bust out the bucket and sponge. If it were up to me, we’d all have those windows like they have in the movie The Hunger Games (and many other movies) where we could use a remote to choose the scene we look at outside our windows.
There is actually a lot of innovation happening right now when it comes to windows, and I have a feeling over the next few years, we are going to see several new techie window options. Then we’ll all be able to upgrade from the ordinary, boring standard glass windows we have now. Until that day comes, we will be stuck with the task of window washing. Wouldn’t it be great if we could just eliminate that for good? It turns out, we can.
What you see below is called the Winbot. It’s basically a cute little window washing robot. It may not have a face and legs like most robots, but it still has loads of determination, and it won’t stop until your windows are all spic-and-span. This little Winbot has suction on it, so it sticks to your windows and cleans away all the scum with the cleaning solution and built-in squeegee while it scoots around your window. There’s even a second pad that dries it all nice for you. Your little Winbot robot is activated with the push of one button. Then all you have to do is sit back and relax, or tweet, or post pics on Instagram, or whatever it is you do. If you are against window washing altogether, and if you prefer to just get down and dirty, you might as well make some art from it.
