There is an application developed to help online shoppers make buying decisions easier and more fun. The application is currently in alpha, uses augmented reality and motion capture control so users can try on clothes virtually, using their webcams and a print-out marker.
Motion capture, motion tracking, or mocap are terms used to describe the process of recording movement and translating that movement onto a digital model.
This video showcases Zugara’s online shopping app which couples the functionality of AR and Motion Capture.
