That’s what this SEO checklist will educate you about. It will help you bring out even more impact from the things you might already be doing and point you in the direction where you will be able to find even more optimization to increase your ranking.

You should never feel it is a daunting task to follow each step of an SEO checklist. It’s there to help you, and there is no race against time to finish it. As a matter of fact, it doesn’t matter if you race through the steps of an SEO checklist since your SEO optimization will never end. As long as you own a website, you will find that there are always things you can do in order to up your ranking and influence in the field in which you operate.

I’m curious how user friendly URLs help SEO?

For example how does:-

http://www.yoursite.com/accessories/11/beans

rank better than say:-

http://www.yoursite.com/accessories/product.aspx?category=11&title=beans

I find the whole human readable factor quite tenuous. In my opinion people do not write down long human friendly URLs. They don’t memorise them. They probably don’t even look at them… or is there some evidence otherwise?
