So, what if the day comes when your laptop computer gets stolen from you? Will you know what to do? The iPhone has a great feature now that allows for the owner to activate a burglar alarm or even use the stolen phone as a megaphone to scream out that the phone has been stolen. Laptops haven’t had features like this until now. This great clip will show you how to enable this feature on any computer using a free software called Adeona.
The software tracks your computer and sends its location to their server for you to use. If you have a Mac you can also take pictures of the thief which will come in handy when you take the location and the image to the police in order to recover your stolen laptop.
This little piece of software is one of the coolest wares I have come across in a long time and I am sure there is a ton of features they or you can add to it to make it even more powerful. Wouldn’t it be great if you could activate an alarm on your laptop that sounds through the speakers of it or even a pre-recorded message screaming “THIS GUY HAS STOLEN MY LAPTOP! PLEASE CALL THE POLICE AND KEEP HIM FROM RUNNING AWAY!” Imagine the thiefs reaction.
