ToeTunes: These Slippers With Speakers Challenge The iPod

ToeTunes Gift Box Comedy Packaging

Are you, just like me, wondering where the whole iPod and music player concept will go in the future? We have seen the same concept designs over and over now for a few years, and it seems to have stagnated a little bit. Maybe it is time to switch out the format all together since the inventors don’t seem to be able to push the concept any further. But what would that be and what would make music more enjoyable than the portable way we are already used to? If anyone had the answer for that, I guess that person would become quite wealthy in the future. There should be some  ideas out there which point to where we are heading though, wouldn’t you think?

I managed to find one new thing that we might not have seen before. They’re the ToeTunes speaker slippers, and they must be one of the most creative attempts to create a new kind of music device. It’s basically just a pair of slippers with a couple of speakers incorporated into them. I assume there is a mp3 player device somewhere in there, or perhaps they are bluetooth controlled. All you need to do is slip them on, press play, and shake your booty from morning to evening.

Wait, hold up! You might have guessed it already, but they are a spoof, and what it really is might not be as exciting. It’s actually a creative way to package your presents so that the receiver doesn’t know what he or she can expect inside of it. Think of it as a joke before the real present is opened. The gift box sells for $20 for three and $40 for 6 (lol). So if you want to step it up a little when giving your loved ones a birthday present, this is totally the way to do it. I am sure it will give both you and the birthday boy or girl a great laugh before he or she finally unwraps the real present. Brilliant!
