Ever since I decided to write about this topic, I can’t get that commercial’s jingle out of my head, “Clap on (clap clap), Clap off.” I can picture the grandma sitting on the couch and clapping her hands to turn the light on. I barely ever even watch TV, so they’ve done a great job marketing if that is stuck in my mind.
This clap-off device is not for grannies though. It’s for geek girls with style who love to incorporate technology into their fashion choices. This is the clap-off bra, and it’s fabulous! This ingenious little contraption was conceived and built by Instructables member randofo.
Although in the profile, randofo’s gender is listed as “robot,” on the member’s website, the name is Randy Sarafan. Is it possible a man created this bra? Nice. What a convenient way to get quick access on a romantic evening. There would be no fumbling around for a clasp, just clap, and off it comes. Once you check out this 5-second video (which is mildly NSFW), you are definitely going to want to make one of these for yourself. Lucky for us, randofo gives a complete tutorial on how to do this on Intructables. I can’t help but think of all the other applications this could have. Fun!
