Current Technologies That Could Build Real Superheroes [Infographic]

There are two types of ‘real superheroes.’ There are people like these Spider-Man Window Washers who go out of their way to brighten the lives of others, and then there are real superheroes meaning people who have superpowers like Batman, Hulk, Iron Man or Flash. Do those kind of real superheroes exist? If someone had asked me that a few years ago, I would have probably said no.

However, with today’s advanced technologies, we can build real superheroes. This would have been crazy to think about even a decade ago. This infographic called The Real Superhero Power Of Technology, provided by Jenny on the dialtosave.co.uk team, raises an interesting question. Do you think these technologies were inspired by superheroes? Or, does the advancement of technology inspire the creation of superheroes?

It’s a ‘chicken or the egg’ kind of question, and since I remember looking at the pictures of superheroes in comic books before I was old enough to read, I would have to say that technology itself is inspired by the superheroes we all know and love. I never realized they have had such an impact on our lives, and our technological progress.

In this infographic below, you’ll see lots of exciting ways technology can help to create real superheroes. There’s everything from exoskeletons to custom armor to shoes that allow you to run faster. There’s even a touch of hologram technology in here, which we are very excited about. Now that we know it’s possible to create real superheroes in a sense, the only question left is, how will these advanced technologies be used to save lives? I suppose time will tell. Enjoy! Batman doesn’t have superpowers, just training and high tech gadgets.

For that matter neither does Iron Man.

And Spider-man doesn’t have any healing factor, just amazing strength and agility to keep him out of harm’s way. Well, that and his spider-sense, too.

This shows REAL power as well as superhero power. I think it is great, covering the real power like Batman through his martial arts movements and gadgets and then shows how Iron Man has inspired technological developments and real advanced soldier creation.

Spider-man does have healing factors that gives him the ability to heal faster than humans, Marvel states this too ;-)

    Cool graphic this is.
