Steampunk Flash Drive Impresses With Glowing Gears

usb-steampunk-flash-drive-gears

There is no need for an introduction when it comes to anything Steampunk. It’s one of those creative concepts that just goes straight into your heart. It’s like we can never get enough of it. As soon as something comes across that has gotten the Steampunk treatment, you immediately know it’s going to be awesome. They are usually flash drives that get this highly artsy geekificaion. But don’t let that fool you, there are Steampunk flash drives that are totally worth checking out.

I recently featured a Steampunk flash drive that had an amazing “aura” stemming from an inside LED light. This one, which is brought to our attention by Etsy seller SteamWorkshop, has a slightly different approach. This Steampunk flash drive is more of a clockwork thingie than the utilization of LED lights. The interior of it is just one really complicated “machine” that unfortunately (or so I think) doesn’t move once the Steampunk flash drive is connected to your device. It does have an LED light incorporated, but it is by far less visible than in the previous Steampunk flash drive I wrote about.

I wish this badboy were for sale, but at the time I am writing this, it has already been sold. That does not mean we can’t still admire it’s beautifully handcrafted awesomeness. There are a couple of other Steampunked “things” that are for sale though. There is a waterproof 32GB Steampunk flash drive that could possibly appeal to you. There is also a Zippo lighter that has gotten the Steampunk treatment. These tailorings are for sale for $105.00 and $149.00. The one that should really be in focus is of course the Steampunk flash drive with the glowing gears which are viewable through the two small opposite glass windows. I know we have quite a few Steampunk fanatics amongst our readers, and this is definitely one to add to your collection of awesome customizations. There can never be enough Steampunk gadgets in the world, and I think most of you agree with me, right?
