The Revolutionary Watch That Allows You To Feel The Time With A Touch

As new technologies emerge, design becomes more sophisticated. We would hope it also becomes more optimized for everyone, not just certain groups of people. The fact that a wristwatch requires vision to tell the time seems limiting. Shouldn’t a watch allow any person to tell the time? A watch that requires eyesight to work doesn’t seem like a very good design. This revolutionary watch changes that. It doesn’t require vision, so anyone wearing it will know what time it is.

This wristwatch is called The Bradley, and it will allow you to touch your watch to feel the time. If you are in a dark movie theater, or even if you’re talking to a friend and you don’t want to seem rude by looking at your watch, you can just reach down and touch it.

The creators of this revolutionary watch call it a timepiece since you don’t have to ‘watch’ this watch. The magic is in a series of magnets, and you can check out the video below to see how it works. According to YouTube, “Instead of traditional watch hands, time is indicated by two ball bearings – one indicating minutes (top) and one indicating hours (side). These two ball bearings are connected, with magnets, to a watch movement beneath the watch face. The magnets make it so that even if the ball bearings are moved when touched, they spring back to the correct time with a gentle shake of your wrist.”

The body of this revolutionary watch is made out of titanium so it’s durable and looks great. This is the part that is going to blow you away… Currently the creators of The Bradley are running to Kickstarter campaign to finalize their funding. They were seeking $40,000. With a whole 30 days left to go, they’ve already raised $236,032. Wow. Congratulations!
