Dock The Jedi Way With The R2-D2 Wooden iPhone Dock

r2-d2-iphone-dock-custom

Ugh, another iPhone dock, right? Well, it’s not just any old iPhone dock. It’s a custom made iPhone dock that will make any Star Wars fan run wild out of pure amazement. The iPhone docks available on the market today are either ridiculously boring or obnoxiously expensive. There are a lot of them too, which makes it even harder to find one that will actually fit your taste and suit your  needs. Even a simple search on Google (or any other search engine) for the phrase “iPhone dock” will most certainly make you go insane due to the overwhelming amount of iPhone docks that will be returned to you. But the particular iPhone dock I am writing about today is a whole lot different.

When we talk about Star Wars, the first thing most people think about are all the legendary characters we all have etched in our minds. One of the more prominent ones is of course R2-D2, the droid we all love to love. Now R2-D2 has become a wooden iPhone dock as well! Yup, that is correct! It is custom made by Mario of Valliswood and will certainly put a different touch not only on your Star Wars fanery, but also on your clean science fiction interior design. It’s actually made out of sustainable hardwood found in the woods of Croatia. It is a whopping 9 inches high and emits a whole lot of awesomeness when you look at it.

The head of R2-D2 swivels open and reveals the iPhone 3G/3GS, iPhone 4/4S, iPhone 5 and iPod compatible dock. If you want one for yourself, just head over to Valliswood’s Etsy page and get one. It’s not cheap thought, and it will set you back a cool $210.00. Valliswood has a bunch of different iPhone docks for sale so don’t hesitate to browse his inventory for more geeky and awesome docks you couldn’t have ever dreamed existed.
