iPong: Only True Way To Play Table Tennis With Yourself!

iPong Table Tennis Gadget Play

Back when I was in school, I used to play table tennis during each lunch break, and I did pretty good if I may say so myself without bragging too much. It’s a great way to get some moderate exercise, and it’s also a lot of fun and involves pretty much everyone that wants to join in. However, if you have no friends around to play with, it can be quite troublesome and well… impossible to play since there will be no other racket on the other end returning the ball to you. So what do you do then?

Of course someone already thought about that and created what’s called iPong. It is, once again, the brilliant minds at Hammacher Schlemmer that bring us the solution to this worldwide problem (I am sure). It’s a unique little gadget that you simply put on the other end of the table, fill it up with ping pong balls and press the start button (I wonder if there is a remote as well).

The gadget will start busting out balls towards you and you can practice that forehand or backhand as much as you want to. You can even curve the ball if you feel like that is something you want to master. The only downside is that it won’t be much of an opponent. I mean, it’s not like a real opponent would put the ball on the exact same location every single time. Maybe the next model will have some sort of random direction feature that will make the whole thing a ton more fun. Wish and you shall receive.

You can buy this badboy over at Hammacher Schlemmer for only $149.95.
