When it comes to accessories, no gadgets have become as much of a focal point as the Apple gadgets. The iPad, iPhone and all the other “i” gadgets have basically created a whole industry around them with thousands upon thousands of available accessories. Some are useful, some are unattainable, some are ridiculous, and some we can’t live without. If you have at some point thought about an accessory that you might need, chances are pretty good that it actually exists. However, it is when gadgets make us even more lazy that at least I start to wonder where the world is heading. Can we get to a point where we simply become too lazy?
That is seemingly the case, and it becomes apparent when you have a look at the iPad SlingHolder. It’s basically a microphone stand converted into an iPad holder. Now you can do whatever you want without having to hold your iPad in your hands, ever! Don’t get me wrong here, I do see the beneficial uses with this thing when it comes to medical necessities or every day chores where you have no way of holding the iPad in your own hands. But, I am afraid this item is, by the looks of the images, also aimed at people who want to become even more lazy.
I mean, if you can’t even lay in a couch without feeling that holding an iPad would be too much to handle, I am sure that there is nowhere but down that you’ll be heading with your health as well as your self-esteem. I find this gadget to be quite awesome for medical purposes. If only Siri could be married with the iPad so that you could browse, scroll, open and close applications by voice commands, that would be great. However, if this is primarily for the lazy butts out there trying to get even more lazy, I ain’t too much of a fan. The stand sells for $239, and it is definitely a welcome accessory for the medical industry.
