The moment we heard about the iPad, the jokes began, remember? So many people started calling it an iMaxi pad, and we all knew right then, someone was going to invent a maxi pad for the iPad, right? Someone has, and it’s hilarious. Introducing: The iMaxi Pad!

This iMaxi Pad is a cover for you iPad. It comes in white or blood red color (I know, this is just wrong) and it even has wings on the side. Its Velcro closure protects your iPad. It has a nice soft cotton interior to keep your iPad all warm and cozy.

You can buy all this geeky loveliness for only $40. This has got to be one of the most ridiculous inventions I’ve seen in a while. I know you are going to be shocked to hear this, but the red version of the iMax Pad is currently on back order. As if having fun with the name iPad wasn’t enough, we are all having fun with the jokes for this too. My favorite is on http://jay3091speaks.com which says:

“The iMaxi’s Velcro-latched, advanced wing design wraps snugly around your device, so your iPad always stays where it should. Best of all, it shields it from all those unsightly and embarrassing data leaks that would make any motherboard worry.”
