Guy Creates Game Development Tools That Border On Unreal

game-development-tools-demo-header

As always, when you are working, you are dependent on the tools at your disposal. Sometimes they can be both time consuming and annoyingly unoptimized. Things could certainly be way more optimized, and yet you keep pushing along just because you don’t have the means or the knowledge to develop something that will suit you better. When it comes to tools, it’s important to know that the more you are able to streamline your work, the better the quality of your work will be. Some people have the knowledge to take things to a whole new level. Bret Victor is one of those people. He decided the code and game development tools he was using were way too time consuming, so he created his own.

Bret has been hard at work on his very own code and game development tools, and he demoed them about six months ago. His code and game development tools go way beyond anything you ever thought was possible. I dare to go as far as saying that I am pretty sure you have never seen these kind of tools before in your life. If you are a seasoned developer, you know how important it is to have good development tools at your disposal, especially when you are creating a game.

This demo takes you through some remarkable code and approaches that will make developing a game or a software a whole lot more time optimized. The instant implementation, future calculation technology and the streamlined interface makes these game development tools a bundle to die for. Never have I seen a more clever solution to problems that game developers and coders have been trying to solve for years. Bret makes it look so easy, and his code and tools are bound to be a huge success. That is just pure fact. If these kind of tools were available for other areas of development, we would see a huge increase in how fast our technology progressed overall. This is an amazing demo and the game development tools unveiled are sure to twist up your head. Pure inspiration!
