Comfortably Update Twitter & Facebook While You Exercise!

Comfortably Update Twitter & Facebook While You Exercise!

Oh hell yes! Let’s face it, up until now; it’s been hard to tweet while we are exercising, right? You might ask, “Why do you need to tweet while exercising anyway?” There are two answers to that question. First, because I’m a twitterholic and second because aside from sleeping, exercising has got to be the most friggin boring thing to do on the whole planet.

Of course, I’m half kidding. I have a treadmill in my house, but I normally choose to ride my bike for exercise because the treadmill really is so monotonous. I’ve tried, like many people, to tweet from my phone while on the treadmill, but it’s almost impossible. Unless you are walking very slowly on it, it’s hard to hit those tiny icons and keys. I’ve tried to retweet people and accidentally blocked them instead, all because I was trying to do it while running on the treadmill. Holding an iPad while exercising isn’t much easier.

Very soon, all that hassle might be a distant memory with this new treadmill design by Technogym. In a nutshell (and I’m way oversimplifying it here), they’ve created a treadmill, called VisioWeb, that has a tablet built in near the handlebars. It has big ‘ol colored oversized touch-sensitive keys (so you don’t have to be precise while running) so you can update your Twitter, Facebook, check emails, play YouTube videos, surf the Internet, play games, etc… right there while you work out. The LCD screen is as large as your computer since it comes in a 15.4 inch or a 19 inch display. Right now this isn’t available for sale to common folks like you an me. Phewy! It’s only for commercial use. I’m hoping that will change soon. I need one of these now! Shoot… with this; I could exercise all day long!
