As you know, I’ve started an OMG category of art here on Bit Rebels, and this is another artist for that very select group that make your jaw hang open while you say, oh my gosh. Daniel Simon focuses on Automotive Futurism.

I first learned about his work when a friend of mine showed me a copy of Daniel’s picture book, entitled “Cosmic Motors.” After glancing at the first page, I had to stop what I was doing and go through each one of the over 300 illustrations while drooling uncontrollably.

These illustrations aren’t just concept designs; they are next level concept designs with a twist. The crazy thing to me is that every one of these illustrations comes out of Daniel’s head and into a sketch, then rendering, then to 3-D art and finally to hyper real illustrations, as shown in the video below. People with this kind of creativity and talent blow me away and inspire me beyond measure. You’ve got to get your hands on one of these books if you can.
