1980s Retro Brick Phone Case For iPhone

brick-phone-iphone-case-accessory

Don’t you just love the ’80s and the movies that keep popping in our heads when we think about it? I mean, there are so many classics that are getting revamped right now that it almost feels like we are reliving the ’80s all over again. Movies like Ghostbusters, Alien and a bunch of others are becoming huge box office successes again. I love how they sometimes tie in the old with the new, and a great example of that is the movie Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps featuring Shia LaBeouf and Michael Douglas. The best part of the movie is definitely when Michael Douglas or Gordon Gekko is released from prison and about to receive his stuff. The line where the clerk says, “…and one mobile phone” and hands Gordon a brick ’80s cell phone is pure genius!

If you miss the good old days, or if you are like me and never had the chance to own your very own brick phone since you were too young, I am sure that you will get a kick out of this one. It’s actually an iPhone case that looks and feels just like a brick phone from the ’80s. It’s an amazing piece of accessory that will surely catch people’s attention. It’s made available by the geek online store ThumbsUp! and is a piece of geek accessory that you need to get if you are more than eager to bring back the ’80s one piece at a time.

This awesome iPhone case is available through a bunch of stores, so make sure you check out the store listing over at the ThumbsUpWorld page for this product. Unfortunately the price varies, so I haven’t been able to pin it down. But it shouldn’t be too costly, at least if you feel like this is essential for you to be able to carry around that new piece of technology that everyone keeps calling the iPhone. I mean, seriously, nothing gets cooler than a brick phone in a world where everything is supposed to be smaller than what is actually healthy for us. Imagine walking around town with one of these badboys. The recognition would be instant for sure!
