Reality Guide To Making Money Online [Flowchart]

We are constantly bombarded with get rich quick schemes that with just a few clicks of the mouse will make us a millionaire. Yeah, I think most of us, or so I hope, know that something like that is never going to make you rich, and it’s quite the opposite really. If you think there is a quick way to get rich on the Internet then I suggest you think again. Actually, to get rich on the Internet requires not only skills but also dedication and a good idea. You will have to work towards the goals in your dreams and never give up. When the news that CNN was going to buy Mashable was released, many people started saying that Pete Cashmore became rich overnight.

For someone who hasn’t done their homework correctly, it might appear that way. The real story is that Pete Cashmore worked 18 hour days and wrote 8-10 articles each day in the beginning of his venture. He pretty much kept that pace up for 7 years before hitting the news as an overnight millionaire with his social media news site. That is hardly getting rich overnight if you ask me. So what are the REAL ways you can make money online, and how do you get started?

Well, after trying to find some solid information on this subject, it was clear that what was needed was for me to find some information that actually portrays the real world online, and how other people have made their money before. What I found is definitely going to set you off in whatever direction you want to go. It’s a flowchart created by Fast Company, and it is called, How To Make Money On The Internet.

The flowchart actually consists of several different paths depending on what you want to work with online. Then from that point, it branches out into several different areas where you can actually make money. All you have to do is to follow the lines of your interest and then get started. This is in no way a get rich quick scheme, it just outlines the ways you can really make money online, like for real.

My humble advice to anyone who wants to start a venture like this would be to make sure you always evolve your idea. Make mistakes, we all do. Always try to think outside the box, and don’t listen to people who say it can’t be done. There is always a way, you might just not have the knowledge to get there yet. Dedication, inspiration and of course a dream are really what you’ll need to find your answer and the path to get to your goal. It’s all in the mindset. If you can dream it, you can build it. It’s just simple as that. Just because you have a great idea though, don’t go thinking it will become a fast success like Pinterest or one of these mega sites for example. In 99.9% of the cases, it takes years to get to a point when you can actually reap the rewards of your hard work. Pete Cashmore is a great example of that.
