I’ve never known a time before when everyone was so busy and rushed in life. It seems we all try to fit as much as possible into every 24-hour period, and it is almost unhealthy at times. We eat at our desks, we skip exercising to work longer, and we don’t spend as much time with our families as we probably should. It’s the modern lifestyle, and I’m not sure if it’s just a temporary trend or our permanent way of life. Either way, I would like to help you de-stress a bit.

Here at Bit Rebels, we are in a huge growth phase right now. We are humbled that so many new people are finding our blog, and along with that humility comes a lot of extra work. It’s all fun, and we love what we do. We wouldn’t have it any other way. But when the stress sneaks up, it’s always nice to know how to de-stress as quickly as possible.

What I’ve noticed is that if you pay attention to your body, you can feel where the stress is entering. It’s like a portal. I always feel it in my shoulders, others feel it in their heart, back or eyes (yes, I’ve had my share of eye-twitches too). We all know the conventional ways to de-stress, but I thought these unusual ways were really cute and funny. They will definitely bring a smile to your face, which will immediately help you start to de-stress. So next time you get stressed, try giving yourself an ear lobe massage, rub a rock or do some laughter yoga. I don’t know if these things really work, but they will definitely make you laugh while you’re doing them. Good luck and have fun de-stressing!
