Self-Learning: The Road To Success [Infographic]

There is a revolution going on in the world that not many people know about, and it isn’t visible to the naked eye. It something that has been going on for quite some time now, and it is unlikely to stop anytime soon. What I am talking about is education. What was considered the most important foundation anyone could ever get has transformed into a whole new breed. It feels weird calling it a breed, but with technology advancing in the way that it is, it’s not too hard to see what I mean by that. Knowledge is no longer confined to our classrooms in school. As a matter of fact, many schools are trying to change that and instead move all of us out onto the Internet instead.

A quick look through the successful business owners of today will show you that the most successful ones are actually school dropouts who pursued their dreams by following what they felt was the right thing to do. Is that a dangerous endeavor? Well, if you are so sure that you will succeed then why not? You have nothing and no one else to blame but yourself if you find yourself on the wrong end of your plan later on.

Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg and Richard Branson are all self-educated within their respective fields, and that has lead them to become idols and silent mentors for millions of people. Their stubbornness and dedication, not to mention their insane appetites for innovation, have brought them to where they are today, and you could go there too. By no means am I saying that you should dropout of school and venture out on an adventure that will not end well, not at all.

What I am saying is that the Internet has become our prime source for knowledge, so why not use it? You can literally find everything here like lost information long thought to be gone, research data that you never thought you would have access to, and of course the keys to tomorrow’s biggest inventions and ideas. They are all bundled on the Internet, and if you have the urge to put your name on the list of successful Internet entrepreneurs then I suggest you start digging.

I found a really interesting infographic that goes deeper into the knowledge database that the Internet really is, and I can honestly say that it inspired me beyond belief. Not only will you see that you don’t need to spend tens of thousands of dollars to go to some fancy school somewhere in order to succeed, the previous list of names should assure you of that, but it also shows you that the knowledge you acquire yourself is as important as anything you could learn in school.

The two things you should carry with you throughout life, according to this research, are that you should have a good work ethic and get along with people. Those two factors are apparently way more important than a college education. So, next time you say goodbye to your best friend who’s leaving to go to some fancy school somewhere, know that you too can become just as successful even though you don’t have the cash to support the same education that he or she does.

In the end, it’s all about what you can produce. Are you dedicated? Are you knowledgeable? Do you know how to take an idea to success? And above all, are you driven enough to make everyone see that you can do all of these things without an extensive education? If you can, then you are most likely a better choice for any employer. Never say no to knowledge. Knowledge is power, even though that might sound corny to you. It really is, and the more you know, the better equipped you will be for life in this fast paced world.
