McDonald’s Menu Items You Didn’t Know About [Infographic]

mcdonalds-odd-menu-items-infographic

When I was younger, I used to love visiting McDonald’s, but then again who wouldn’t, right? As I have become a little older, I have somewhat come to choose a little bit more healthy food. I think I appreciate a properly cooked meal better than the time I would save by just hitting up a McDonald’s restaurant. The fact that they continuously change their menu and the way that they prepare their food has somewhat become an annoyance I guess. That has also pushed me towards choosing a proper meal instead. However, there are a lot of people out there who still love a good McDonald’s meal, and they visit that restaurant pretty much on a weekly basis.

Something that I actually didn’t know was that McDonald’s has different menu items depending on where you are located in the world. Some things that are on them I have never even heard of being put on a hamburger before. This might explain why they keep changing their menu so often. What I don’t understand is why they always take off the stuff that is popular from the menu. That seems like a bad business decision, but McDonald’s isn’t the largest fast food restaurant franchise because they make bad business decisions, right?

Just have a look at this infographic from the people at Medical Insurance, and you will understand what I am talking about. They have managed to pull together all the menu items that surely aren’t available at your local McDonald’s restaurant. The McPizza sounds insanely interesting, but I doubt I will ever have the opportunity to try it out since it was a failed attempt at making a McDonald’s Pizza. I am hopeful though, but most likely I will not. Never in my life have I thought that McDoanld’s had tried so many different things on their menu. Some totally failed, that’s true, but some of them would definitely work today. It must have been a cultural shock issue or something.
