How To: Celebrate Festivus With The Rest Of Us [Infographic]

Celebrate Festivus Holiday Infographic

Seinfeld is such a classic, and I think I have seen every single episode at least ten times, if not more. I didn’t become a Seinfeld fan until after the series ended, and it started airing in reruns. If you are a big Seinfeld fan too, you know that if someone says even one Seinfeld word, you instantly start giggling. One of those words is “Festivus.” I can’t even type it without getting a big smile on my face.

Are you sick and tired of all the Christmas hoopla? Do you need a new holiday to scratch you right where you itch? Festivus might be just the thing for you. Getting ready for Festivus is a lot easier than getting ready for Christmas. All you need to do is blow off work, get an aluminum pole, and air your grievances. Oh, and don’t forget the Feats of Strength which is when someone in your house gets knocked to the floor in a wrestling match.

Who knows, with a little luck, you might even be able to create your own Festivus miracle this season! If you would like to learn more about Festivus on Seinfeld, it’s in the 1997 episode called “The Strike.” I put a video clip below for you.
