Now You Can Have A Hollywood Movie-Style Secret Passageway Too

3 Years Ago By Richard Darell

I think we all have been mesmerized with the secret doors scattered throughout the castles and epic mansions in movies. They say that any respectable castle has at least one secret door that leads to a secret lair or room. Whether that is true or not, I don’t know, but I want to believe it. If you want one of those, it doesn’t have to be a dream anymore. You can get your very own Hollywood movie-style secret passageway that leads to whatever you want.

The concept was brought to life by Steve Humble. He was studying as a mechanical engineer when he first started thinking that there must be more people than just him who would find a secret passageway useful and fun. As it turns out, people want to have secret rooms in their homes for more than just fun. They want them for security as well.

If you are the unlucky victim of a burglary or a break-in, you want to make sure you have somewhere to go. A panic room is exactly what you need. A panic room is a room that can only be opened by the person inside the room once he or she is inside, and the door is locked. Some people even go as far as putting a hidden camera on the outside of the panic room to see what the perpetrator is doing on the other side.

There are many different styles and reasons why people would want a secret passageway, and it seems to be a pretty booming business as well. When Steve and his team started their business in 2009, they immediately raked up a line of customers (which meant over 3 months of constant work). The creative solutions that Steve’s company, Creative Home Engineering, offers are both mind-boggling and awesome. Some even border on the unreal.

If you would like to have your very own secret passageway in your house, I highly suggest you head over to their website to get some creative secret passageway ideas. But before you head off and plan an epic secret passageway, make sure you have a thick enough wallet. It’s not cheap staying cool and secure these days.
