Oops…Funny Accidental Company Branding Fails [10 Pics]

It’s Wednesday afternoon as I’m writing this, but it feels like Friday. I don’t know why, maybe it’s just been a long week already, but I can’t bring myself to write about anything serious today. Company branding is always a popular topic, but today, I think I’ll take a different spin on it. I’ll write about it as if it’s Friday, even though it’s only Wednesday. That means that instead of a serious article about company branding, I’ll treat you to some funny company branding fails.

The thing about these company branding fails that makes them so funny is the fact that they are obviously accidental. I mean, the fact that a lady’s booty would be advertised on a bus that rolled through some mud and splashed up there is like a one in a million shot, right? What are the chances that a Toyota pop-up ad would show up on a news article about someone getting hit by a car? If nothing else, these rare branding accidents make for a good giggle.

I have to ask though, since these pictures are circulating the Internet, are they really fails after all? Aren’t each one of these companies getting a little recognition because of it all? I don’t know. In the end, it all just seems silly. This collection was put together by StockLogos.com, and if you click over to their site, you’ll see there are many more that I didn’t include here. The Starbucks van is out of control. Someone needs to repaint that in a different configuration. Really! StockLogos.com is also the site that put together these 12 Past Present & Future Corporate Logo Designs that are also very funny. I hope these will put you in a Friday mood too. Every Wednesday could use a little Friday in it, don’t you think?

Absolutely hilarious! Most of these I’ve seen before, but a few of them were completely new and therefore unendingly funny to me. Sometimes, little oversights really can put the spotlight on certain brands, and sometimes it becomes a hit. Still, if there’s anything these blunder teach, it’s that small oversights can come with big consequences.
