For Really Hungry Geeks: Behold, The Salsa Hat

Oh. My. God. I would totally wear this. For real. This is brilliant! As we all know, eating chips and salsa isn’t exactly portable. I mean, one wrong move and your shirt smells like tomatoes and onions for the rest of the day.

So what do you do when you want to eat salsa while you are driving? Or when you are in the bathtub? Or when you have a beer in one hand and tortilla chips in the other? It’s quite a dilemma. The way I see it, you have two choices. You can either wimp out and not eat it.

Or, you can do what any self-respecting geek would do and realize that you are in fact a geek, and you will inherit the earth. Nothing is outside the realm of possibility for you my friend. You can make it happen. All you need to do is cook up a hat made out of dough. Just make sure the top has a little bowl carved out, and voila, you now have your portable salsa dish to take with you anywhere! Heck, the bowl looks kinda tasty too.

I’ve tried to track this back to the original source so I could credit the right person for creating this geektastic edible masterpiece of yumminess. I’m not 100% sure, but I think it goes back to Julia Segal, the stand-up comedian. Hmm… it’s all making sense now! On a side note, I think we all know where she got the inspiration for this, right? Check out the 8-second video below.
