Design Inspiration: 12 Dreamy Luxurious Walk-In Closets

When you think of your dream home, what are some of the features you would want? That’s probably too broad a question since I can think of at least thirty custom features I would want in my dream home. How about your bedroom? If you could have a designer come into your home and make your bedroom look however you want, what would you choose? One of the things at the top of my list would be a huge walk-in closet.

I’m talking about the kind of closet that is its own separate room. It would have floor-to-ceiling windows that over look the ocean. It would be a cozy place to hang out and try on shoes, so it would have to come with long mirrors and a comfortable place to sit. Lighting would be very important too since how a room is lit determines the mood you feel when you walk in. Last but not least, it would have to have a gaudy jeweled chandelier just to add to the whole look.

What would your dream walk-in closet look like? What color would it be? Would it be contemporary or traditional? One of the main ingredients in a super killer walk-in closet is of course all the clothes and shoes within it. They would all have to be chosen carefully.
