The Chair Snuggie Will Wrap You In Warmth All Winter Long

January is the coldest month of the year where I live, and I pretty much spent the entire month underneath my electric blanket writing. When I’m not enjoying my techie heat source, I’m walking around wrapped in my snuggie. Now that there are snuggies for adults, kids, babies, dogs, and even our gadgets, it makes sense there would be a snuggie made for chairs too, right? Maybe not, but this chair blanket sure does look like one to me.

This is the kind of thing that could take an ordinary, uncomfortable chair and turn it into a cozy slice of heaven. This chair is called the Autumn/Winter Chair, and it was created by designer Aga Brzostek. The chair is basically wearing a sweater, or a snuggie as I call it, which can wrap around you, button up, and keep you warm all winter long. Aga said, “I wanted to create a sweater you could sit in.” If you want to really create a cardigan sweater feel, you can button this up the front once you are situated inside.

Underneath this chair’s sweater, it’s covered in lots of soft foam, so it really would be super cozy to hang out on this piece of furniture in the winter. The blanket can be removed from the chair, washed, and put back on. It’s even adjustable so you can get the perfect blanket fit around your body. It would be neat to see a matching couch with this same concept. Everyone could sit all wrapped up in the living room to chat in the evenings. I’m very sad to say that this isn’t available for purchase anywhere, but if it was, I have no doubt it would be a success. Well, at least in places where it gets cold in the wintertime.
