10 Insects That Look Like Aliens

Alien Looking Bugs On Earth

I know a lot of ladies are squeamish when it comes to bugs. I’m not one of them. Since I grew up in a small town in rural South Carolina, I’ve seen it all. I can hang with wildlife that would make most grown men shiver. I’m not saying that to brag, but rather to tell you that it has to be a really, really gnarly bug to freak me out.

These bugs below must be some next level species. I’ve heard of bugs looking like aliens before, but these really do. They all look like they are saying, “You wanna piece of me Earthling?” What if all along we’ve been looking for little green aliens in the wrong place? What if they aren’t flying around in spaceships at all? What if they are climbing in the trees right in our own backyards?

The second one down in this row of pictures looks exactly like a yellow Predator (from the movie), right? And, the third one down looks like the creature from the movie Alien. The sixth one down reminds me of the alien within the alien in Men In Black. I’m not walking outside anymore at night without a flashlight. You never know what higher intelligence might be lurking in the grass beneath our feet… :)
