I think one reason why Where’s Waldo has stayed popular for so many years is because it’s one of the few puzzles that when you find the answer, you are left with such polarizing emotions. It’s really a bizarre feeling. On one hand, you feel a huge sense of accomplishment because you’ve just spent what feels like forever searching for that little guy. On the other hand, you feel a huge sense of desperation and exhaustion for the same reason, because you just spent what feels like forever searching for that little guy.
There have been several variations of Where’s Waldo over the years. My favorite one until today was Where’s WALL-E, which is a mind blowing illustration that took over reddit about six months ago. Now I’d like to share with you another Where’s Waldo illustration, and again, this one is truly magnificent.
Comic artist Ulises Farinas illustrated a humongous mural that you have to see to believe. I couldn’t capture the whole image in this article since it’s just too big. You can click on the link below to see the hi-res version. Within this one illustration is Bart Simpson, the cast of Wizard of Oz, Star Wars, Spock, Lego Man, Vault Boy and The Doctor.
