Real time information is very important nowadays. As you know, majority of people very active online get their info from either FaceBook or Twitter if they require fast and word of mouth recommendations, they rely on the said platforms.

If you choose Twitter as a means to share, then discovering ways on how you can locate those who would be interested in what you have to share is important. Or if you have many followers and would love to share content relevant to them, then you might want to check out TweetMiner.

What is TweetMiner? - TweetMiner is a site that brings together an RSS reader and Twitter into one nice simple, clean interface. It allows the user to instantly post from the feeds to Twitter. It also allows the user to schedule the Tweet for a later time.

The interface is available via 2 ways, one is through a desktop client or through the web. You can download the desktop client here. Just note that before using the desktop version, please use the web version to set-up your Twitter accounts. For some reason this is not working correctly in the desktop version. It is a bug with Twitter itself.

Nice video! I’m still getting used to awesome Co-Tweet but will add TweetMiner to the picture bc the interface is so clean. RSS ease, too. Thanks for the 411, Misty, never heard of this before.

My favorite source of content happens to be Twitter. The vermiculture is mind-blowing. You have to trust me on this.

If you dig past the cliche Churchill, Chesterton and C.S. Lewis quotes (just to name the few that are worthwhile even as cliche).. you can find the darling of darlings, Twitter’s own variety of Eisenia fetida.

Like the tiny redworm, Twitter’s darlings are capable of consuming up to their own weight of misinformation, hype, cultural garbage, misunderstanding and ignorance. They transform this waste into tweets that we can use to renew creativity, power rethink, and refuel the engines of hope.

It’s just.. WOW. (Yeah, I know)

Just sayin.
