This is without a doubt the coolest ceiling fan mod I’ve ever seen. It’s also the only ceiling fan mod I’ve ever seen, but that’s beside the point. If I could drive somewhere and buy these Batman fan blades today, I would. After all, everyone knows it’s very important to keep the temperature in the Batcave just right.
This beauty was created by The Atomic Lounge. According to Etsy, they are “made from 1/4 inch Birch ply.” They came in 4, 5 or 6 blade sets (depending on your ceiling fan configuration). I wish there was a video so I could see how they look when the fan is spinning. The bummer part is that they are sold out. I know. WTF?
Come on Mr. Atomic Lounge, get to chopping that wood… or whatever it is you need to do to make these available again. Nah, we understand that you won’t be making any more any time soon. If you change your mind though, please let us know. In the meantime, I suppose if all us batmen (and batgirls) could stop fighting crime for a minute, we could probably buckle down and make these ourselves. Now, if only I could find my saw in the garage…
