The Most Disturbing Japanese Toy You’ve Ever Seen

Warning: If you are easily offended, you should not read this article. I could not believe my eyes when I saw this toy from Japan. It was released in October of 2008, but even now, a year and a half later, it is out of stock because the demand is so high.

I’ve heard of having a virtual pet, but a virtual girlfriend, that comes complete with panties and a paddle for spanking? This is nuts. This augmented reality software displays a girl that interacts with a little box, a paddle, and a few other things that you can move around in front of your webcam.

According to http://gizmodo.com “From a technical standpoint, this isn’t much more impressive than PlayStation 3′s Eye of Judgment. You install webcam software so that when your camera detects the special bundled cube onscreen; it fills a 3D companion into your environment.”

Like most dolls, this one comes complete with different cute clothes that you can dress her in and presents that you can give her, which makes this whole thing seem even more perverted to me. I’m not sure what is more offensive, the doll itself or this commercial. I’m so glad I don’t understand Japanese, because something tells me I’d be angry if I could understand what they were saying.

I used to love taking care of my virtual dog back in the 90s. If this wasn’t so twisted, I could actually see myself buying one of these just for fun. After all, I’ve always loved dolls.

Can we add the fact that the virtual doll is designed as a little girl which is even more disturbing! It doesn’t get more sick than that. I personally love anime and would’ve loved to have a virtual doll but that just seemed like a man’s ultimate fantasy doll!
