The Millennium Falcon Apple Pie Design

Star Wars Millennium Falcon Pie

This is a hella cute Star Wars apple pie. It makes the tiny apple pie baked inside an apple that I wrote about yesterday look so boring. It’s funny how today’s hero can be tomorrow’s zero. You might be asking yourself, “Why would I want to make an apple pie that looks like a Millennium Falcon?” Well, because you can. Star Wars fans really need no other reason than that.

From what I’ve seen, the whole secret to this is in those aluminum pans that you will cook it in. You’ve got to mold them into the Millennium Falcon shape, so go ahead up into the attic or down into the basement and find that box that has your childhood Millennium Falcon toy in it, you’ll need that as a reference. Bring it into the kitchen; it’s time to have some fun! For some reason, this keeps reminding me of this delicious (and useful) salsa hat design.

The geeky girl that gets all the credit for this is Amy Radcliffe. You can get the complete recipe and tons more pictures over at Geek With Curves. She was inspired by a pirate (pie-rate) ship pie design, and she decided to mod it into a hungry Star Wars fan’s dream dessert. So if you’re a geek with a sweet tooth, this might just be the pie for you!
