The Best Super Mario Birthday Party Ever

Super-Mario-Bros-Birthday-Party

Wow, I can’t think of a better way to be sure your child grows up to be a well round geek than to throw him or her a Mario themed birthday party. I’ve read about Mario parties before, but this one has to be the most elaborate, creative one yet, and it’s definitely in a class of its own. As a matter of fact, I’m trying to figure out if I can get away with having one of these parties now.

Everything you see in these pictures was hand made. The whole family voted on what food to serve so everyone had a say in that decision. All the boys got Mario and Luigi hats, and all the girls got princess crowns. I want one of those crowns! I even see an awesome Toad hat in the mix.

The Goombas that you see in the yard were part of an obstacle course which included popping all the Goomba balloons. And, as you see, someone even showed up dressed as Bowser. You are probably wondering who the lucky kiddo was who had this geektastic party, right? All I can tell you is that the original post for this was written back in May of 2011 on Behemoth Gaming by a guy named Daniel, and all he said was that this party was for his nephew. After a party like this, I can only imagine what kind of party he had this year when he turned 5. This seems like it would be a hard party to top!
