Stunning Gears Of War Lego Rubber Band Rifle

Gears Of War Lego Build

I am not the one to play those first person gory shooters that keep coming out these days. I am more of an adventure kind of gamer, and I would definitely go for more open-ended gameplay like Eve Online, Minecraft and to some extent World of Warcraft. However, there are certainly a lot of people out there who love to play games like Gears of War and Modern Warfare. One thing that has become quite apparent is that games are infinitely more bloody and gory now. What was considered bloody back in the ’90s is today considered to be somewhat compared to a kids game. It’s weird really, but such is modern gaming, and it keeps developing.

When it comes to Lego though, there are no topics too gory for the really awesome builders. They keep coming up with things that portray the most insane stuff, and the result is always eye-catching and amazing. Take this Gears of War Lego Rifle for example. It’s complete with the chainsaw feature that, in the game, slices and dices the enemy in half when in close combat. It is also a working rifle which shoots off rubber bands, and it has a working motorized prototype of the chainsaw.

I have no idea how powerful the rifle is, but the images of it tell me that the build is intricate enough to amaze even the most hardcore Lego fanatics. Maybe this one is not exactly a toy for the young kids, but if you look at it from a builder’s perspective, you will understand that we, here at Bit Rebels, consider this more like art than anything else. The art of building intricate models has always impressed us, and the skills required to make a build look realistic are some of the most impressive ones. This is of course one of those since the Lego rifle is almost identical to the one in the game Gears of War. (Created by Lego pioneer PLUM B)
