Star Wars Steampunk Figurines: The New Breed

Star Wars Steampunk Figurine Characters

I touched on this very subject once before when I wrote about how Star Wars would have looked back in 1942. The article was widely popular, and Star Wars fans took in the new breed of Star Wars characters like it was a whole new universe. The creator of this awesome take on the movies, Sillof, has further developed his line of figurines, and it is time to present the full awesomeness of his figurine armies to the masses. It’s not hard to understand why people are embracing pretty much everything that has to do with Star Wars. It’s because the universe and our ultimate curiosity about the future is tickling us and grabbing our attention. Every geek knows that the future is where it all happens.

This new lineup of characters created by the talented designer and figurine maker, Sillof, is without a doubt the coolest and most complete set of awesomeness that I have seen in quite a while. The detail is just astonishing, and if you can’t tell who the character is supposed to look like, you are probably not very much of a Star Wars fan after all.

The steampunk take (or as it has been described, the 1942 take on Star Wars) is one of those series of characters that really mesmerizes you once you lay your eyes on it. Not only would it be super awesome to pull out these badboys out if you’re a kid and your friends have the ordinary and “boring” characters, but from a cool point of view, you would certainly kick some royal butt with them. Right at this very moment I really wish I was 10 years old again and wouldn’t be frowned upon for playing with these figurines. This is for sure going to become one of my all time favorites when it comes to Star Wars fan creations. Sillof, you rule! If I could just have one of those figurines, I would box it in a glass display and give it its own special and honorary spot in the center of my home. There’s no doubt about it! PS: I would definitely want the Darth Vader one if you’re reading this.
