Star Wars Snow Sculptures To Inspire You [15 Pics]

star-wars-snow-sculptures

Even though it’s January, we’ve been having very warm weather here in Atlanta for the past week. People are wearing shorts, t-shirts and flip-flops. If you didn’t know that Christmas just ended, you might even think it was summer. I was hoping we’d get some snow this year, but that is looking more and more doubtful. Lucky for us, we have the Internet. Even though it’s not snowing here, it is snowing somewhere in the world right now. Looking at snow sculptures online is almost as fun as building them, and you don’t have to get frostbitten fingers. My favorite snow designs are Star Wars snow sculptures, and when I was scooting around online today, I found some really inspiring pictures to show you.

We’ve featured Star Wars Sand Sculptures before, but never Star Wars snow sculptures. When you take a look at some of these, you’ll be blown away by the detail and the authentic look that some of them have. As always, Star Wars fans don’t disappoint, and they can build just about anything to look realistic and creative.

I found these pictures all over the web, and of course the image credits are listed below. It’s hard to choose my favorite, but I think the R2-D2 with the blue and red colors wins first place for me. The Yoda in the last picture is really nice too. The guy who made that one named it Snowda. So, if you are lucky enough to live somewhere where it’s snowing now, instead of cursing the snow and dreading the shoveling, appreciate how beautiful it is. Who knows, maybe this will even inspire you to go outside and build your own Star Wars snow sculpture. If you do, I hope you come back and leave us a pic.

Proper credit for the Snowtrooper with the snowblower goes to Jim Mossey of the 501st Legion Central Garrison!
