Star Wars Lightsaber Umbrella: Keeping You Jedi Dry

Star Wars Lightsaber Umbrella Gadget

It’s somewhat weird to write this article today since the sky shows itself from its brightest side with a clear blue canvas and full on sunshine. It’s one of those days when you know it’s going to be a really nice day, yet really chilly. The winter is coming, and here in Sweden, we usually get these days just before Christmas. However, until the temperature actually falls down under the freezing point, there will be rain, and I guess this article is aimed at those days. If you live in a country that doesn’t see much rain, you can consider yourself lucky and unlucky at the same time. Why? Well, because without rain there is no point in idolizing the gadget I am about to show you.

I think we saw it the first time in Blade Runner (you know the legendary and iconic sci-fi movie starring Harrison Ford) and then it just vanished. I am talking about the light rod umbrellas that at the time made a huge impact only to fall out of style. As a matter of fact, I don’t know if there were ever any made for the common man, but that doesn’t matter now. The awesomeness of those umbrellas has been overplayed long since.

It’s time for Star Wars to take the torch. To give you your awesome gadget of the day, I present the Star Wars Lightsaber Umbrella! It’s nothing complicated and nothing that will have you become a Jedi just from owning this badboy item. It’s merely an umbrella that will keep you dry during rough weather, and it will light up the street as you are making your way home while it is dark and raining outside. The umbrella will set you back $45.50, and by the looks of it, it is is actually licensed from LucasFilm LTD. However I wouldn’t count on it…
