Star Wars Illustrated Pinup Girls Propaganda Posters

pinup-star-wars-propaganda-posters

Here we go again! It’s a new day, and it’s time for a new weird perspective to the almighty Star Wars universe. Have we not seen it all yet? Nah, I think it will be quite some time before we will have depleted the mythical box of Star Wars creations. You might remember an article that Diana wrote a while back with a set of Pinup Girls all derived from the alternate galaxy so many of us have grown so fond of. Well, this time around, we’re going the same route, but slightly off to the more propaganda infested headquarters. Once again, we’re going to enter the sacred yet odd world of girls trying to get us into the epic war between good and evil.

It comes in the form of illustrated propaganda posters that all try to recruit you to either the dark side or the rebel side. What side will you choose? These illustrations are skillfully done by artist Feng Zhu who has to be credited as being one of the most original sci-fi artists around today. His work is truly impressive and really sparks new ideas and new concepts in seemingly every new painting or picture.

These posters are all created to lure us to either side, and as usual, when it comes to ads, it’s all about seduction. If an ad manages to seduce you into believing you will get a better life with the advertised product or lifestyle, the consumer is usually sold and brought in for slaughter. Not literally of course, but you know what I mean. These posters, I am sure, will become as viral as any other Star Wars geekery. These ones have a little more… oomph in them than we are used to seeing. So what will it be? Rebels or the dark side?
