In a trade show, getting people to go to your booth is quiet a challenge specially if there are so many participating companies there with you. Companies employ different tactics to ensure that consumers get the chance to at least check out the booth and have the opportunity to tell consumers what they offer.
Here is an interesting video of a a company in Germany that used flying banner ads to get attention from the event attendees. They literally had flying banner ads.
To promote their exhibition stand at the Franfurt Book Fair, Eichborn the publisher with the fly prepared 200 flies with an ultra light banner. The banner was attached with natural wax. After a short time the banner dropped off by itself. And the flies were not harmed.
