Trekkies Rejoice: Now There’s An Online Dating Site Just For You

I think the earth just rocked off its axis for a moment while the sun and the moon both smiled. This is going to make a lot of people very happy. If you are a huge Star Trek fan, I’m sure you know that trekkie dating can be tough. It’s hard to find a fellow trekkie, much less one you are compatible enough with to want to see more than once. Trekkies are a very special breed of human beings, and I’m excited that now there is a place designed especially for them to find romance and love.

It’s simply called Trekkie Dating, and from what I can see, it’s set up like most online dating websites. According to the homepage, the free membership “allows you to browse the site, view profiles, send flirts and modify your profile.” You also have the option to purchase a premium membership which grants you more access to the goodies.

If you want to try this site out but you’re not sure if you’re a trekkie, you can go to OkCupid andn take The Trekkie Test. If you are single and know you are a trekkie, then giddie up on over there. It seems like these days there is an online dating site for almost everyone. It doesn’t matter what your personality is or what fetish you have, there is probably a site for you. There’s a dating site to find Apple fanboys or girls, people who like to wear diapers (I heard this is a trend in Japan now), people who are in prison and even people who like to dress up as animals. You can read about all these and more in a Huffington Post article from last year called The 19 Most Unusual Dating Websites. Even if you just want to see what trekkies live in your area, Trekkie Dating would be so fun!
