Sometimes people ask me, “What is the one thing that most people do not know about you?” My answer is always, “We have 19 cats.” Well, technically, we now have 23. My sister loves cats, and we keep only the ones she rescues. It is very hard to try and entertain a cat or to even get its attention. To help with this, a friend of my sister sent us some catnip for our kittens. At first we did not know how to use it.
“Catnip” is the common name for a perennial herb of the mint family. It is native to Europe and is an import to the United States and other countries. The catnip plant is now a widespread weed in North America. Given to the right cat, catnip can cause an amazing reaction!
