2013 LEGO Minifigs: The Superheroes & Supervillains Collection

LEGO-Minifigs-Superheroes-Supervillains

You know we are huge fans of LEGO and LEGO minifigs on Bit Rebels, and we know you are too! If you haven’t seen the 2013 LEGO Marvel and DC collection of LEGO minifigs yet, you’ll love this. It’s such a great lineup of superheroes and supervillains, and of course, I want every one of them. There are 14 new LEGO minifigs for the DC Universe and 7 for Marvel. From what I’ve read, there may be even more that get added to this collection before it’s complete.

Is it just me or are LEGO minifigs getting better and better as time goes on? I’m not sure if that is really true, but some of these are fabulous. I only pictured 10 of them below, but you can click over to FBTB to see all of them. Right now, the list includes Mister Freeze, Aquaman, Bane, Harley Quinn, Spider-Man, Nick Fury, Venom and many more. I have to admit, I miss Wolverine and Hulk on this list. My favorites are Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn in the nurse disguise, but you could have guessed that, right?

These days LEGO minifigs are used for a lot more than just building LEGO masterpieces. People use them as props in all kinds of art projects (like this Star Wars Clock). I’ve even written about them being used as decorations on cakes and other food designs (like this Star Wars & Harry Potter Cake). And, probably the most impressive of all is when someone uses LEGO minifigs in their photography project (like in these Indiana Jones photographs). So, as you see, when these new LEGO minifigs are finally released in 2013, they will open the door to all kinds of new creativity and inspiration around the world! LEGO just never gets old.
